Dark cherry, plum, strawberry and mint
A sixth generation winemaker, Laurent Parize tends to 9 hectares of vines in Givry. The domaine own 2 hectares of Chardonnay and 7 hectares of Pinot Noir. They started bottling their own wine in 1975 and produce 4,000 cases per year. The average age of the vines are 30 years old. This is due to the replanting of the crop by both Gerard Parize, and again by Laurent. They use organic fertilisers. The Champ Nalot is fermented and macerated for 12 days in stainless steel and aged for one year in oak barrels.
