Domaine des Coutures Saumur Champigny 2018
Saumur is in France's Loire Valley, about 3 hours from Paris. Saumur-Champigny is a red wine appellation within Saumur. It makes bright and juicy wines from Cabernet Franc. When it was introduced in the 50's, it was seen as a table wine; one that wasn't taken seriously but featured on almost all wine lists in Paris's restaurant scene. Today, it's a much more serious wine offering younger vignerons a chance to experiment. Vincent Nicolas is the sixth generation of his family to farm the vineyards at Domaine des Coutures. The Nicolas family have 15 hectares which are sustainably farmed and the grapes hand picked. This wine should go very well with the gnocchi and pork ragu.
Each pasta is enough for two to share (or very generous for one).

With 32 county nationwide shipping, the ingredients of each allta BOX are delivered chilled to your door to be refrigerated and best consumed before Monday.
Our drivers deliver northside of Dublin, Meath and Louth between midday and 7pm on Thursdays with southside of Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare delivered between 9am and 7pm on Friday. We aim to deliver the rest of Ireland on Friday though this may be Saturday morning at the latest during these times.
