Black cherry, plum, raspberry and blueberry with grippy tannins
Molise is a mountainous region close to the Adriatic sea, between Abruzzo and Puglia. Vinica started in 2007 when Rodolfo Gianserra and Giuseppe Tudino came together. The idea was to develop an eco-sustainable organic farming project in a high hill area of Molise. This area remained uncultivated and abandoned for decades, with ancient and documented centuries-old wine vocation. This 100% Tintilia is fermented and aged for 3 years in steel. It is a grape that originated in Spain but was introduced to Molise at the end of the 18th Century and is now exclusive to Molise. The name ‘Lame del Sorbo’ comes from the Sorbo tree that dominates the vineyards of Azienda Agricola Vinica, in the Lame area on the hills of Ripalimosani.
