Black pepper, black olive, dill and leather
René Jean Dard and François Ribo have the right attitude to the natural wine scene. To them, it’s just the way they have been making wine for three decades. Their 7.5 hectare vineyard holding is split around seven villages on a variety of terroirs made up of different soil types. The winery is located near Mercurol, close to the well known Tain l’Hermitage. 2018 might seem young for a big Saint Joseph, but the guys make wines in a way in which they would like to drink themselves – young and fresh. An ideal pairing with barbequed meats.
