Floral, oaky and red fruit character
Chianti is a household name at this stage. We all have fond memories of sipping some memorable reds in Europe. For me, it's a glass of Chianti overlooking the Classico region in Tuscany. The winery was set up Trambisti in 1934 by Orlando Trambusti, located just south of Florence. In 1982, Giovanni Trambusti took over the winery after his father's death. Today, it is run by Giovanni's children. This is a true family run winery. The vineyards lie at 350m above sea, allowing long warm days and cool nights. The Cavalleresco Chianti is like drinking with an old friend - familiar violet and clean oak characteristics.
