Lively, fresh, raspberry and medium-bodied
The Loire Valley produce some of the best wines in France, yet it’s known for its Sauvignon Blanc. While the Allions do make a Sauvignon Blanc, their Gamay rosé is exactly what the Summer calls for. Using little herbicides or pesticides, Cédric and Dorothée Allion farm organically 30 hectares of vineyards overlooking the Cher River in Thésée la Romaine in The Loire Valley. The pale-pink Gamay-based rosé is fresh and clean with citrus, red berries and floral aromas.
