Citrus, zesty, peach, melon and apricot
The Loire Valley produce some of the best wines in France. Cédric and Dorothée Allion use little herbicides or pesticides over their organically farmed 30 hectares overlooking the Cher River in Thésée la Romaine in The Loire Valley. The vines are planted on clay/silty soils which favour drainage and aeration of the roots. Vines are exposed to south/southwest. The wine is aged on the lees (dead yeast cells from the winemaking process) for between 6 and 12 months.
